Has anyone fitted a 'further forward' (footboards) setup on 09 Heritage yet? The bike is comfy, but at 6'4", I'd like a bit more legroom.  I have tried a few US EBay dudes, and M&M Cycles (in US) but they are unaware of any yet.

I know this a late reply to this, but I too have an 09 Heritage and I'm 6'3" tall.  I was looking for extra leg room and wound up putting on a crash bar with 360 adjustable highway pegs on it.  But I still found that I wanted more room on the boards.

Recently I added the Kuryakyn floor board relocator brackets http://www.kuryakyn.com/index.cfm/go/Home.ProductDetail/catID/10/scID/93/IMID/83 to my boards and the difference was amazing.  I bought them from the US last time I was there ($94.00 US - the price here was double from the stealers) and recently did about 4300km's in 6 days, and no complaints.  I found the most comfrtable position was to have my heels fully on the boards and toes on the highway pegs for cruising, but if I needed to pull the legs in on the twisties, they were comfortable fully planted on the boards.

I can't comment on if this increases the scraping in the twisties for 2 reasons, 1) the arse of my bike is lowered and gets even lower with me sitting on it so I tend to be a bit slower on the bends, 2) I changed the stock boards out for a set off a Deluxe and they seem to sit about 1/2 an inch higher than the standard 1/2 moon boards.  I was scraping my old boards all the time, but since I put the Deluxe ones on, no scraping, and this hasn't changed since puting the relocator brackets on.

I have had a few other tall mates sit on my bike and they say that it is such a comfortable set-up, and personally, I have done 1000km's in one day with no comfort issues or leg cramping.

I did also sit on a mate's Deluxe and I know the seat pushes you further forward, but the amount of difference in the leg room from his bike to mine is night and day.

If you are interested, let me know and I will post some pics.

    Cheers - Holley

Thanks Holley!  Very interesting comments, and yes, can you either post some pics or EMail them to me.  Good time to buy bits from the usa with the $$ so strong.  Was just now looking in the parts book!!
