im looking to get a fatter rear end under  my 99 wideglide - even a 200 would do me, and as the minister for finance (wifey) scoffed at my quote from chopperworks for approx $6000 plus wheel for a 240 , would it be possible to take the rear swingarm from a later 07-09 dyna and fit it with guard and wheel without too much dramas?

    cheers for the help brothers.....

The wider the tire the more rolling resistance it produces, the more HP is requires to turn it, and the heavier the tire becomes.  Of course if you are able to spin the tire in the corner by throttling up than by all means increase the tire patch size.  If you wish to do it for looks than that is up to you.
