Wow thanks Jack.  I didn't know they could do that.  I thought they might have a paint code or comething like cars do.  I might give the dealers a ring and see if they know too?

I don't think the gun metal grey is a special paint, but even if it is they should be able to give you the number code

I have the exact same bike mate. im thinking of getting the grey redone as well. the blacks fine but stone chips on the tank and a couple of dents on my front guard need re doing. if you find anything give me a call. its not a hard color to match tho. just have to go off the road for a while. this model seem rare I never see em. I have been told they were badged as FLSTC,s in the states. only in OZ were they nostalgia's. If you have dramas try the 95 classic for codes.

Thanks for the responses fellas. Firey I looked under the tank and found a sticker that tells you the model FLSTN Charcoal/black and right or left side tank but no paint code. Stix i did some research on the web about Charcoal satin brite and i reakon thats the colour but still not 100% sure yet. I rang the dealer what a fukn waste of time that was!!! Everytime i ring (4 times) they reakon their computer system is down and can't check - Bullshit!!!!

Swifty nice to see we are from the same clan. Unfortunately mine is no longer orginal as you can see from the pic. I'm the second owner and the guy I bought it off choped the rear fender and put the fatboy front guard on and changed the rear to a bobtail. I then went further and put the solid wheels on and have pretty much just made it into a Fatboy. I just picked up a rear fatboy fender and want it painted in the charcoal just to finish her off.

As soon as I confirm the colour mate i will let you know. Although the panel beater who is going to spray it says now he doesnt care to much about the code and would rather colour match the paint to match it perfectly with the rest of the guards.

For your info Swifty keep an eye on your tank badges, they are a sought after item. Since the Fatboy low came out everyone wants the steel badges. If someone steels them you have to prove ownerhip of your model bike to Harley in the USA to get replacements and they are NOT CHEAP.

WEll i heard back from the local dealer today and they say the paint is Charcoal satin/vivid black code 058??
That pretty much confirms that the colour is Charcoal satin brite but dont know where they got the paint code from.

good info bro. mines stock std. Im aware of the metal badge issue. its the only 5 gal tank on that year heritage too. don't suppose you have the original seat do you. mine tore last month. not bad for 15 years, it is also a rare seat. (no side bits sewn onto it) never seen another like it. i will get mine redone but i don't hold out much hope that it will be as good. Would hate to know what the cost is for a replacement seat. Look after her mate you have a dark hoarse there. A sleeper. im in Bris and Ive only seen one other.

Sorry mate i dont have the original seat. Never came with the bike unfortunatly. Did you check out the complete set of 1995 tins on ebay for your bike? Exactly the same as yours and in excellent condition...
Im in Melbourne and know of two other guys nearby that have the same bike. One of them has only got about 7000klms on it and is completely original. Be a collectors item soon.
