Crankcase Breathers

    G'Day guys. Was out and about yesterday and saw a pretty tidy 99 Fatty. Got to yakking with the owner and noticed he had a breather kit ( see below). This was mounted in the gap between the gearbox and swingarm pivot on the right side of the bike. 2 questions, any value to be had from these things, and how are they plumbed into the system?

    If you have ever seen the condensation SLUDGE & CRAP that goes back into your motor you'd be running one too.. 

    a simple way to get rid of it on a CARB bike is to disconnect the rubber hoses from the back of the breather bolts & the air filter,

    replace it with some rubber pipe between both crank case breather bolts on each head to a T piece then down to a filter.. 

    ( dont forget to block off the 2 holes in the back of the filter )         job done
