Hi, i need some help with an 09 Lowrider........i picked up a 2010 wideglide seat and pillion on ebay for a good price......my idea is to use the solo but turf the pillion seat and get a wider pillion through HD.......problem is.........my guard now has four bumper rubbers still stuck to it.......i will probably stick them on to my original just in case i want to use it but how in the hell do i get them off the guard..?   someone told me heat will do the trick but before i try that i was wondering if anyone here has some eperience with this....also..i have to move the threads in the guard for the screw to hold the seat........it has me confused.......

Many thanks for that Zag........you just solved my main problem mate........originally i was going for the barebones........but came upon a new unwanted 2010 wideglide single for $60....couldn't pass it up.........how did you remove those rubber bumpers on the guard...?     did you have those too........?

they are just Sticky back things.
Pull the fuckers off as best you can, then heat etc if you want. I personally just smashed it with a bit of Metho and stuff and WD40 and anything else I could find with a cloth and some elbow grease. Very easy that one, the tank badges are harder, and refelectors on fork legs are real fun too.
I bought a C&C seat, you can order custom style to suit from the states see pic below.
