So fella's,

can someone walk me through what is need to up-grade to a Stage 1 on on 06 softy

My past experince with FI has simply been on sportz bikes where I just download a map for the exisiting ECM, never added anything as the ECM always had enough ram to handle addition maps. Other than on a track bike, things like the Tuneboy are just more toys for little gain (IMHO) when used on the street

Been reading (but not getting) about PC3 & 5's, TTS SERT(?) etc but those who have down it are running other mods etc Understand the concept but which way to go hasn't sunk in.

That's because I dont understand where, what and how it unit brings a better outcome,

The only mods I am planning are True Duals at this stage and that wont be for a while

My bike is (as much as I know) stock except for the slip-ons (Rush) and as they are "after" the flow I can't see what would need to be done (based on old carby bikes I had). Granted, being FI that may be wrong and if I changed the air-flow I would understand (but not know which one) to download a new map. This brings on the next questions, can you just download a map for the current system?

Also, is there a simple way to know if your air has been up-graded??

Anyway, if anyone can tell me (teach me) what needs to be done that would be great; Oh, I did use the search function but as I'm not sure what to look for I may have missed any post on this topic so I apployise if that's the case.

Am I right to believing that there is no 02 senors into the pipes on a 06 model?

Its just a simple FI system?
