laid up in hospital
got me finger squashed between me trailer draw bar and a brick.
off to hospital and the panic button was hit
got sent to another hospital an hour later and plastic surgeon performed his magic
had a skin graft and now finger is all back together
thank f..k for private health cover
in hospital tonight and home tomorrow in time to take me bike in for a service.

went for a ride Saturday morning, 2.5 degree, cant where glove on left hand, but hey I can still ride.
The misses and I cruised to Frasers to get the sporty serviced and while I was there had a look at the sale they had on, some preety good prices too.
Know how it feels mate,mashed my thumb up with a circ saw one sat morn 10 am ( mates rates job). chucked the tools in the truck drove to Joondalup got stuffed around for 3 hrs then had to drive to charlies for the op. 3 ops later $7500 hbf and medicare put in $4800 .keep your eye on the robbing basterds. good luck with it mate

I was reading your post about the cost, thinking I'll be OK thats what medical covers for, well fuck me gently the next day the bills started rolling in so far just under $5000, and then they require full payment before you can even claim, well I guess i can't complain I still have my finger now.
Going for a checkup in the morning, hopefully all is going well, the skin graft wasn't keen on taking last week.
