Well i've come to a point where i cant make up my mind what to do and thought id see what the general thoughts of the masses would be.

Im not sure weather to update my 1996 softail(on nitrous) for something newer and rubber mounted for a smother ride or just spend some money on freshening things up on the beast i already have. Both options have positives and negatives in my mind and a newer bike would still require extra cash spent to make the bike mine/modified.

So guys which way would you tend to go with, i love the bike i have but not that much to never sell it.

    Interested in independant thoughts.

    Cheers in advance.

As you say, either way it's going to cost you spondolies, and will continue.

Unless you're really attached to the '96 Softy, think about putting some excitement into your life with the thought of breaking in a new beast and moulding it into the ride you dream about.

If you can afford it, do both.

Have you gone for a test ride on the new ones yet, work out how many $$ for the new pipes, Air filter, Tuner, etc etc
You will already know how much your bike is worth,if you sell it.
Do the sums and see how much your up for
