Stopped in a Sys on the weekend juts to have a gawk....bumped into old mate FXR Freak ( he was being bent over by the spare parts guys for 2x starter motor brushes $40!!) Anyway, got talking to Howie the mad Yank and they had just traded in a very nice fully restored WLA including manuals etc. Very nice bike. Always loved the look of the old beasts.

I bought a 1/2 container of WLA basket cases from Sy many years ago at a very fair price. got a couple of goods resto's out of it. Will have to dig up some pix and post. There was even had a set of hand ground cams re-hardened that I just had to try with an SU carb, worked a treat. Very fond of the ol wallas.
