Here are some pics of the Softail Rockers taken by "ratsmow" at The Melbourne Bike Show last weekend. I agree that the "satin" finsih on the "Standard" model is pretty daggy.

I'm sorry, but that's as ugly as a hat full of arseholes.

I like the oil tank tho.

No more softail standard !!! WTF ???

I like the Rocker, I rekon it's about time they came up with a new twist on the design. I'm presonally a fan of the more old school bikes but there's a lot of people these days who like the more modern chopper design and I think they released it to soak up that market.

quite keen on the Rocker, but not the Custom. Need a lot more thought into the pillion seat though. Both look shit. The front tyre on the Fat Bob looks shit... more like the front tyre on a tractor (no offence to a mate). Would really like to see in the flesh, but am told nothing due in Perth till next year and I cannot see myself in the US till March '08.

was down the local Harley dealer yesterday and they had a fatbob on the floor,I didn't mind it,but as people are saying the exhaust has to go as to the semi solid wheels, didn't like on a fat boy, don't like em on this either, apart from that it was ok.Also hate the new copper and black anniversary models .What I did fall in love with when I saw it in the flesh, and I never thought I would ever like one is the Nightster, they look HORN.A real old school look to them, and I am not a sportster type guy.

I heard they are keeping the Softail Standard in the Australian market alongside the rocker.

roadtrain, I believe the WideGlide is still in production but that Oz are not importing them this year. Also, of course, the Deuce has been completly dropped and presumably replaced with the Rocker. I think that, like the V-rod, we will all get used to seeing the Rocker. Some will warm to it, others won't. It would be a boring world if we all drove Skodas!!!!! LOL :)

I like the look of the red rocker and that Fat Bob is not bad as well.

It's a nice bar hopper but with the extra rake and the 240 rear it's not too good on Tassie roads (if you want to keep up with the boys). I like the looks and with a bit of modification I'd be happy with one as a second bike.

BTW the Softail Standard was not dropped, my '08 will be here next month.
