Has anyone done or know anyone who has put cams in their vrod? mines due for some more power

i was thinking forced induction but was told they become to unreliable unless you build the rest of the motor to handle the extra punishment?

i think they use a gt25 garrett turbo? standard boost is 6 lbs but they modify them for 8 lbs which still isnt fukall boost really so it shouldnt hurt the engine anyway, the ricer boys put these on their nissan silvias and can get 20 lbs of boost from them with modifications, one of the guys i ride with has a trask turbo kit on his softail,he rides it everywhere and fairly hard to, only drama so far has been an oil seal in the turbo which got interesting as it dumped oil from the exhaust onto his back tyre. make sure you put piccys up and let us know how it goes to
