Noosa Hinterland ride

Description of ride:	Noosa Hinterland ride
Date:	23rd May 2010
Destination:	Pomona, or wherever we decide on Saturday prior to the ride.
Route: (incl meeting points/times)	From Caboolture Northbound @ 9am for coffee with 9:30 kickoff, along coast from Mooloolaba to SCHarley, along David Low way, cutting in @ Eumundi/Tewantin turnoff, into Tewantin and along McKinnon Dve to Apolonion Hotel Boreen Point, then either Pomona or Kin Kin for lunch, and home via Eumundi range, Fuel stop @ Caltex Noosaville or Caltex Tewantin (unleaded 98).
Who's coming:	Aunty X, Diane and enforcer (ladies first), Pet and gedi, Kustomtown (maybe), Hipshooter and mates, JILLI and Ubes(maybe), Skullster, chromer , homerd, Ms Daisy and Monarofan, Motorhead, Patsy and Davo (maybe), slip, woopass, ZAG, Stick Mick

Sounds great, i'll be in IF, and i mean IF my ligiments get their shit together by then, i could meet ya's at ya first stop weather it be pomona, cooroy or eumundi, if ya still want suggestions i would say you would have enough time for a squirt over to kin kin for a sample then over to boreen point for the pub's famous spit roast lunch which is very reasonably priced and kicks off about 12:30, i love that pub its great but last time i was there the keg beer was crap, buy bottled, a photo beside the lake would be a must do, from there you could head to the out skirts of tewantin then to the top of the range and chuck a lefty onto sunrise road (i think its called that) and back into eumundi for a farewell drink but hey dont let me take over, its your ride.

Nah dont think i'm gunna make this one either, looks like i'm gunna be layed up way longer than i thought, will catch up with ya's when i'm all mended, Cheers guy's.

yeah this would be a nice ride . had lunch at boreen point the other week. I think it was $16 each for the spit roast pork and beef. beautiful lunch and a great spot and biker friendly. but if ya go there book a table before hand because it gets busy.
Hey auntie x ya could take them back through kin kin and cedar pocket and come out at gympie and split from there .
as far as for me meeting up i will let ya know as it gets closer I think i have people coming up from sydney I wil ask the organiser of the house to let me know whats happening and let ya know.

Yep i'm in, depending on where you head for i may have to cut out eariy due to working Sunday night, but will wait and see on the day.

Hey guy's just a thought so dont book me a spot at the table, seems i cant make the ride i may try to get over for lunch or maybe even meet ya's at pomona pub and follow in the car to your chosen lunch break, i'm sure wifey will chaffeur me around if i take her out for lunch

Ok everyone, Planned our route this arvo.

From BP, we head up the Bruce to the Mooloolaba exit. We head into Mooloolaba and ride along the foreshore. There will be a few traffic lights, and I will keep the pace quite slow. As we head along the foreshore we coast into Maroochydore, where we then head towards Sunshine Coast Harey. We group up there. Once we're all together, we head over to the Sunshine Motorway via Wises Rd. Good idea to get in the left hand lane for this. Once on the motorway we take the exit that points to the airport. This is called the David Low way. We ride along this rd which follows the coast line. After going through Coolum, we proceed to a roundabout just b4 Peregian Beach which is signposted Eumundi Tewantin. As we're heading to Eumundi, there will be an abandoned German restaurant  on you right. This road is Beddington Rd, and we just head up the range and enjoy the scenery.

I apologise for the long blurb. I really do feel a need to put this part of our course up due to the high volume of traffic lights around Maroochydore.

We should be having lunch @ Boreen Point at approximately 12:30pm.

For those who wish to leave early due to other commitments. there's an option to breakaway @ Cooroy at approx 11:30.
