The only Sportster model they're stopping is the Custom 1200.  You'll still be able to get the 48, Nightster and XR, 1200's.

I know Aussie dealers are limited to the number of bikes they can order in each model. For instance, Frasers tell me that they can order - say - 12 'Sportsters' per month. It doesn't matter which ones but they can only have 12. Since the Iron and Nightser are selling they decided to only order Irons and Nightsters, plus the new 48 when it is due later this year. This could be a reason no 1200C is being offered.

My fuel light comes on around the 225 to 230km mark and it always only fits in 10.5 litres. I dont know how they say reserve as you cant turn a tap to get it like on any other bikes i've had

So does mine but I can go another 60 or so K's before it starts to cough and sputter

I have a 2010 XL1200C and the low fuel light comes on around the 220km mark. It takes 11 odd litres to fill which means the light comes on with around 6 odd litres in the tank.
The workshop manual states low fuel light should come on with 3.8 litres in the tank. No adjustment I believe so we have to live with it. Can get over 280km before coughs and splutters start and it takes 15 litres. Still 2 litres left which makes 300km possible.

Hey folks, the US 2011 models have been released. Worth a look at the US harley site:

    http://www.harley-davidson.com/en_US/Motorcycles/sportster.html

    My 2c worth:

Superlow - I like it, great style, easy to ride. Probably destined to be regarded as the chicks bike, but deserves better.

Nightster - same as last year, but I think they may have buggered up the logo on the tank...

Iron 883 - no change, except for the new colour. What are they thinking? I really don't think the Iron looks any good in cat's vomit yellow. The demin silver was OK, and thank God they kept the denim black. Better to have done a Henry Ford and offered it black only...

48 - no change, looks as good as ever, can't wait to see and ride one over here.

1200 Low - looks OK, but I don't think it will replace the 1200C in the market. Harley may have missed the mark a bit with this one. I bet they will sell a lot of forward controls with this one.

XR1200 - looks good in the new white colour.

Interesting to see that the only model with forward controls is the 48, and yet one of the the most popular mods I see on Irons and Nightsters is to fit forwards......
