Hi all, I am thinking of replacing the stock RKC handlebars (2010 model) with either Street Slammer or CVO look alike bars.  Does anyone have any expereince with riding comfort and/or installation issues with either of these bars? I am looking for hidden wires and diamond back braided lines to dress the front up a little.  I cover about 10K per year (some long rides).  Thanks in advance

Got the Slammers on my 2009 Roady Classic. They're comfortable as, look good and get some good comments. You'll have too get yourself a cowelling to suit and rewire your electrics with FBW. existing wiring and brake lines just fit but no problem. Be careful running the FBW and other wiring, there could be some sharp edges inside the bars thet may peel back the insulation.
You'll find them great on long runs, Im 6ft and have no problems.

    How about this style ? 1-1/2 , 6" Rise, 3" Pull Back.

Love the bars but they're no good for the Road King as they are fly by wire rather than cable for the accelerator.  Also they don't fir the cowelling that fit the roady.  A far bit of modification required.

As long as they are set up for FBW, they have to have a caslte type cut into the end of the accelarator end of the bar and have hand crips to suit the FBW, not just any type of hand grip.
