Going out to Boondoomba dam for a ride , returning on the Sunday. 6 or 7 going so far . anyone interested all welcome.

I am looking into the availability of cabins out there will post the details as i sort them. the Ute will be going (tray back) so supplies etc are looked after. shouldn't have to carry anything on your bikes.
probably leave from the sundowners car-park around 9.30 Sat morning. Good camping spots all round the lake. some will be swagging, some will want cabins. meat and drinks will be picked up in the last town, forget the name of the place but will tell you soon as i look at the map.

Would be great but if its May looks like i'm still gunna be crippled plus got a family get together that weekend, last town is proston but call into hivesville pub on ya way, its great, and zag there are no dirt roads to boondoomba....or was that a private joke lol.

Thats no good to hear you are under an injury cloud Motorhead. the dirt road thing is a long story mate but I got a few people lost a while back on a ride and we ended up doing 20 or 30 ks on some dirt roads. it was good tho.

Done the gravel thing meself one time   but wasnt lost and was only about 5 klm, found out later there was a bitumen option but didnt matter, i was out front so was only everyone else that was covered in dust at the next stop......OOPS.

Booked some rooms out there. 15 per head we have room for a few more.

Hey got a bit of trivia for ya's, my late uncle managed the cattle station boondoomba was built on from when he was married until he passed, can still remember him showing us the friggen big hole in his paddock, ah well it means something to me hehe.

11 going now. we should have a good weekend weather wise all be it a cool one.

great ride no dramas, excelent venue, top day Thanks Ubes and Monarofan for the company. really enjoyed the layed back pace. We definately need to organize another trip out there.

Sleep 32 with cooking and shower toilet firewood all for 270. cheap and easy.
