Names' Damo, brissy boy, been cruisin the net tryin to find as much info as i can about evo softails lately - cos the 'modifying bug' has struck.....much to the dismay of my bank balance.

Anyway, i've only been on streetbikes for less than 2 years. bought a japper 600 first up. I always said harley's were unreliable, noisy, leaking peices of crap that only seel cos of their name....Then 6 months later bought an '89 heritage and took it on a 4 week tour (pub crawl) across to Perth and back. And loved it! The japper is now long gone.

I thought i might as well join up here and ask some of the questions i can't find answers to anywhere else, so if i ask a dumb question, forgive my newby-ness.

I'm in the process of frankensteining the heritage - few new bolt on bits here and there, bars, controls, tank panel and caps blah blah blah. I've got an inverted front end in the spare room waiting to go on as soon as my bloody offset neck cups arrive.

Some new paintwork with a stretched tank is next month. I'm kinda hangin out to see what i can do about the cheesecutter on the arse end, cos i'm pretty sure i'll need a new rear guard anyway.
