    Hi everyone

Some of you know that I haven't got my bike yet looking at 4 weeks now just done the down payment today :-)

Im thinking ahead and wanting to know what pipes would be nice with a nice deep tone? I quite like the look of drag pipes that end evenly. I've looked at youtube but cant seem to find any 2010 softtail delux that have had a pipe change. Also does anything else need to be done when putting pipes on like the ESPFI?

I've got V&H Big Shots staggered on my 09 deluxe. Nice deep note without being obnoxiously loud. Big improvement power wise on the stock exhaust.

Hey Alfie here's footage of my ride with the V&H exhaust. Pump up the volume to hear the note.

Side mount plates are illegal if you're thinking about it.  There is a kit to drop the plates to the bottom of the fender. Yeah the bike is lowered 2 inches front and rear.

I lowered the bike myself. The rear with progressive 422's (US$500, about $950 here in oz)  and the front with progessive drop in springs (US$150).  The rear bottom out 2up at the lowest preload setting, but when I adjusted the preload to near maximum it didnt bottom out.  Anyways I dropped the bike the maximum 2 inches, you don't have to drop it that much if you don't want. The drawback with such a low bike is I can't take corners as fast anymore otherwise the footboards scrape, your lean angle is decreased.  The bike handles better with these shocks than the stock ones because the ride is a bit stiffer.  I had the pipes installed by the dealers as they would be able to tune the bike according to the new exhaust flow. Nothing needs to be done to the injectors.
