Ok, Just got a new set of V&H Q-Series Double Barrel pipes

Was just mucking around in the shed trying to fit them and it looks like the flanges dont line up properly on the heads

The back one fits fine but the front is about a half inch too short

Anyone got any tips to fitting these things? Does the footpeg have to come off for fitting or any other tips would be good

They are the right part number for the bike so I'm sure I'm missing something

A few of us had the same problem fitting a set of supertrapps to a rockerc. What should have been a half hour job took us 3 friggin hours. It took a lot of jiggling around and a bit of gentle persuasion with a punch on the flange to line everything up. Different pipes I know but it helped having two people. One lining up the rear and the other on the front.

Just got it done

Had a mate come over that is a bike mechanic and he had them on in 5 minutes, Just gotta pull and push in the right places

Will fit them up properly tonight
