Hi All 

             Looking for info on Shotgun shocks. Are all who have them still 100% happy and also, those that imported them from the U.S, did you get hit with  import tax on top of purchase price on arrival ?

Just installed mine, heaps of rain here in Sydney so haven't had a chance to test it, but I'm sure they are worth every cent.  I got them to state $900 on the package so didn't have to pay any duties of GST from customs.

Do they only fit softails, or have they made a version for Dyna's ??

There was a US ebay seller selling the earlier models (small compressor and fixed studs) starting at about $1000 us. about 2 years ago. Which I bought the last one going.
The newer model has a larger compressor (obviously pumps up quicker) and removeable bolts so the one piece unit can swing out of the way for tranny oil drainage.
There are plenty of other air rides out there but this is the only one that will let you adjust dampness and height on the run. 2 up or solo you can ride firm or soft.
The air line is not pressurerised so their is no fear of the bike loosing air. It's a big outlay but once fitted you'd swear you were in a limo.
I contacted the owner JD of shotgun shock about the upgrades and he said no problem send it over, 4 weeks later they came back with no charge.
Check HDforums.com nothing but praise and confidence in JD and his system.
