 Agree everything with above. You're crazy to buy ANYTHING locally that you can get o/s. Retail in Oz for anything is, typically, twice the US price. As long as you don't get screwed on postage and buy from a reputable dealer and know exactly what it is you want, you'll be fine. Double check sizing, fitment, etc (shoot the dealer in the US an email if you have to) and also double check postage - often the cost given on ebay is crap because it works it out automatically. I'll usually check with the dealer to make sure it's the best they can do. Example - I recently got a set of D&D slash-cut slip-on's for US$199 + $50 postage - sure beats the $532 I was quoted here! Another example - I was quoted $1130 at the local HD stealer for an FXRG perforated leather jacket. I said "thanks very much - I'll think about it" and used them to get the sizing right.....then ordered it from the US for just over $500 total including postage.  I will NEVER buy anything locally if it's not urgent - even then, there've been times I've been told "4 to 6 weeks" by the local stealer for a part to come in - then I've got online and had it delivered to my door in a week.
