I'm based in the Caboolture area and most weekends I get out on the bike for a short ride. eg Bribie, Dayboro, Samford, Woodford, Mt Nebo etc. Would love to have some company. Let me know if you're interested.

Hey IK, i live in the mary valley but yeah i'd be keen to catch up with ya for a ride oneday, i'm tied up for a month or so but oneday for sure, i'm sure if ya planned a ride and posted it up in here you'd get a few takers.
We could be good for a Sunday ride sometime soon.
This is just a thought..... buuuuut, say we picked a place like the Etta Pub for a 9:30 for 10am start.
Over the Peachester range and down to Woodford, which would make a good spot for a coffee stop by 11am. Then maybe head over to the Bribie RSL for lunch, or maybe fish and chips on the waterfront looking back towards the mainland, or there is a great little licenced (spelling?) fish and chip shop at the Spinnaker Sound marina just on the mainland side of the Bribie bridge, any of these spots would see us turning up at around the midday or so time frame.
We could piss off around 1:30 and then be home by 2:30 for us or thereabouts.
Now, this is just a thought, so no dumping me into this or anything like that, but as i'm typing this, i'm thinking the ol girl and i might just do this exact ride this sunday.

IK, at this stage, weather permitting, yeah, we'll do this ride on Sunday. I think the last time i looked, showers were being forecast for Sunday, but then again, Sundays a long way off still too.

On the topic of short rides. Took the missus on the back today. Went thru Dayboro, Mt Mee to D'agular. Onto Woodford and lunch at Stanley Hotel, Kilcoy. Home via Caboolture and the highway. Top weather but heaps of roadworks on the D'ag hwy. Week day ride....no bastard about.

The ol girls got a few things she wan'ts to get done tomorrow, so i'm not sure if she's gunna be out or not.
I'm most likely still gunna give the bike a run though, at this stage.
I'll do my best to be there.... I'll be riding an orange one of these sorts of bikes.
I don't want to lead it either, as my indicators border on nearly invisible to completely invisible and with a 300 rear tyre, it handles like a bag of shit falling off a truck. Fuckin fast in a straight line though.
I'm not gunna make it, now they tell me ive torn out the ligements in my ankle/foot and gunna be layed up for quite awhile
