Hi all I have my new black side shots for the FXDWG, but i am unsure of what to do to install them, I am happy putting pipes on etc but the sensors have me worried as this is the first fuel injection bike I have had.

So what do I do with this stuff?

What do i do with this?

And do i just unscrew these and screw them in my new pipes?(new pipes have holes for two sensors)

Once I have pipes sorted I will do the TTS and air cleaner which i also have now ready to go.

    thanks in advance

Shadow you disconnect the wiring plug from the active exhaust valve control unit then unbolt the whole unit ,it stays connected to old exhaust via the cable .

thanks rowdy, would you happen to know if i need to turn this off in the TTS before I ride with the pipes on?

My plan is to put pipes on and ride then do air cleaner and TTS will this work out?

pipes all done now i got to read up on the TTS so  I can put air cleaner on and retune.

PS dont mind the mid controls and gear shift on the same side I am a amputee so I shift both with right side :-), need to get a new mid brake now the stock pipe is not on the way so I can custom cut and paint it to be where my heal sits.

PSS I never put the BCT baffles in yet I am going to ride it and see how it goes for a while.

pipes look the goods old m8... I put shot shots on my Nightster the day I picked it up.... just a note of warning though... don't ride it much until you retune it.... do the air & tune so ya only have to do it once....

done 2 vtune runs seems ok to me I will do 2 more I think next weekend, still getting a bit of popping but open pipes (stock baffles) i would think you will always get a bit.

quick question once i have done the vtune all I do is blend files then put AFR and PE back to orig value? I leave the CLB at 720 yes/no?

Also would a CLB of 720 for front and rear give me more popping than a lower one?

Put my BCT baffles in last night, sound has change quite a bit not so harsh now also popping has gone (:-0) will do the vtunes today and see how I go, also going to try a lower CLB as 720 seems rich to me, to much "soot" in pipes would like to get them more "grayish"
