G'Day guys. At the recent Pie Shop ride, I discovered to very important things

    1) Phantom owns approximately 10% of the Chrome in the known Universe ( and is highly protective of his investment)

    2) I need to get a few more bits of shiny shit on my bike ( 97 Fatty)

Question: Would like to get a bunch of stuff from the US, lower belt guard, tappet block covers, rear pulley etc etc. I would get it here if there was a reasonably priced Aussie, but places like MCA are extorionate....so, what places have you guys used in the US to but this sort of blingy shit. Would rather try and buy it from 1 place rather than being butt raped for postage from multiple shops.

    Any advice apprecaited boys.

I still think I should buy Phantom a few beers, swap the number plates on the bikes, and ride home.

Do you reckon he would notice?

I got my box of bling from M&M, but just get the prices for the items from a few places and split your deliveries so the goods and shipping value is less than $AU1000 a delivery. Then no problems with customs. Work out your priorities and expensive/cheap, and bundle together. These guys are 20% off list price, and I have a full HD parts catalogue on PDF priced I can email to you, so you can look at sizes and prices, and work out about what can ship together without creating the customs nightmare. I found M&M delivery pricing was more reasonable, but I notice there are 3 places which get good reviews on here.

    His name is Luke.

He sends his chroming out, so in my opinion your best going direct to the chroming place down near bankstown raceway. Is directly across from the carlovers.
Look the stuff he chromed for me was good, just lost bolts and a whole set of nuts were chromed with the washers on (woulda be ok if they were flush but they werent).

But polishing wise he is pretty darn good!

Yeah was chatting with Springer, its the environmental controls that are in place for the electroplating industry. Apparently, stuff gets sent to the ACT for the show chrome stuff?? Anyway, trouble with getting stuff from the US is a part might be say $25 and its $35 to ship lol!

Dave, file is to big, this info from Dragon. I tried to DL but there was some issue at the time...maybe site problem. Let me know how u go mate

    Go to this link http://www.harley-davidson.com/wcm/Content/Pages/Genuine_Motor_Accessories/genuine_motor_accessories.jsp?locale=en_AU

This is the US site, under the bike picture it says Motorclothes Merchandise > and under that is the link to download a PDF of the catalogue. You can find all the parts available for various year models of nearly all the bikes. This is a good start to look at pics of all the items and get the part numbers which you need to be able to get online quotes through M&M etc. M&M has no pictures or descriptions, just part numbers only, so gotta get the info right.

My first port of call is usually e-bay  ( yes i know i know ) but ya can get good quality for a good price if ya careful and get to know the e-bay stores. Geez after a few hours hard riding on my old vibrator there's usually at least one piece of bling left on the road behind me, but i'm gettin there, every new part gets the loctite treatment.
