Good work Seet04. Harry.s is a lot easier to find. Could not make it as I had to attend to the car on the railway tracks at Lidcombe.
SEET ole mate,
You have graciously fallen on your sword.
You have taken the right road - better to tell up front than get the truth wormed outta ya at a later date.
Love the story tellin mate.
Bullshit Seet, you sent me the text and I already showed some guys
02/05/10 10.47am - HDF SEET04 - Holy Guacamole Batman, You should see all the Harleys going past, Im gonna jump on the back and hope they dont notice, might be a sausage in it for me somewhere down the track.
So......did you get the sausage. More importantly, did it rain?
I went past the servo on thw way home this arvo. Superglide was still there waiting for you.
good one seet
HAHAHA!! Good on ya seet! I have nearly had the same thing happen to me, except it was only about a k or so before I realised I was with the wrong bunch of guys and turned off, still getting back to the meeting point before the right pack came along. There are so many groups meeting up for rides these days it is easy to do. What I did do once, though, was to lead a quite large pack (about 60 or so bikes) the wrong way, up what I thought was a road, but was actually a driveway to a farmhouse! Sure gave the farmer a shock!!
Anyway, couldnt get to this one, because I couldnt get out till after lunch due to other commitments, but left about midday for my own short ride down to the George at Picton, for a few quiet ales. Heaps of bikes out there today, parking even for bikes was in short supply, and no seating available. Still a relaxing afternoon though, just watching the world go by.
Seet, sorry mate didnt get ur PM until after I had left this morn.. I turned up to Trivetts at 8.30aam and there were about 9 bikes there. We left at about 9.00am
As we approached the Casula servo about 40 Liverpool HOG guys appeared from nowhere..
We saw youat the Casula servo and superglide waved at you to join us. It must have been strange seeing so many of us!!.
We pulled into the next servo to wait for you.. But you drove straight past us.. We did try to flag you down but..
Sorry mate..
Yeah, cant wait to see you Harrys on Friday. Im sure i'll spend the first 10 minutes reading all your new patches on your jacket given to you by all your new mates
Funniest fucken thing in long time, and you didnt need any anzac biscuits either.
Cant wait for you to post the next mystery ride SEET. Jump in, couple of coldies and a sausage sandwich, oops, my mistake, didnt realise it was a bunnings boy scout fund raiser.
HAHAHA that is gold indeed. Yeah, on a nice Sunday morning being on a HD is not quite as unique as it used to be! We actually caught a HOG pack on the M5 just before we got to your turn off, I was pretty much rolling along the break down lane to make sure my crew could dis-entangle themselves, then sure enough as soon as we merged onto the hume our 10 or so bikes were engulfed by another huge HOG pack, looked like Liverpool chapter. Sorry mate I don't generally log on on the weekends, i just post the ride and then only log on if i need to pull out. I can read all the posts on my Blackberry but not write back. I don't frequent those dogdy independent fuel stops and saw that someone above had written there was a Caltex down the way so I had just planned to go there and grab you along the way. As it turned out we were dragging a few of the Liverpool guys at the lights so by the time we hit your servo we would have looked pretty much as one group, yes that was me on the inside lane wildly gesturing at you and pointing to the fuel tank, we pulled in 500m up the road at the Caltex and Galloway even ran out to try and flag u down as you came past but you looked pretty intent of gunning down that free sausage. Hope you had a good day anyway, once that mist was gone it was a ripper. We had 3 schooners under our belt by 11am at the Oaks and then rolled sth and around back onto m5 and back to trivetts by about 2pm. Funny too - We felt bad that we'd lost you and I said to Galloway or one of the boys "ah well he'll probably tack onto that HOG crew and end up at a BBQ in Woollongong watching strippers or something anyway!"
....Good one Seet........which way do i go.......
