You now sit in the bike instead of leaning over it. Great feel and ride. A lot more relaxing to ride and just below shoulder height.

Mate you are looking at about an inch back. But remember you can adjust bars to suit. I chose to have bars line up with front forks and I am very happy with ride. There is a downfall to apes and that is I find that you do lose handling ability. But you do get used it. There is a little bit of flex in the bars but if I changed the tripple tree rubbers to the plastic type, this would eliminate the flex.

I love the look of the apes on the Rocker. I have a 09 rocker and would like to know where you purchased them. I would like the size risers you used  and the height of the apes if possible. parts numbers would be great if that is possible.

    Thanks, Mark

Those look frickin Awesome! Best lookin mini ape I've seen on a rocker. I checked out the guys website and videos.
Think I'll have to get some myself. What risers did you use to allow the 1 1/2 inch diameter?

They are 1 1/2 diameter risers as well. Speak to him, he will do anything for you. Good product.

I really like them bars mate. I wish Burlieghbars kept there's more straight from side on like these.

If you don't mind, when did you order these and what did they sting you for shipping? I got BR bars on the train I ordered at the beginning of the year for $120 shipping. Called up a few months ago for another order, they wanted $450 just for shipping the same bars. Nuts

I Just got 14" apes on my 09 as well. I've found the handling improved immensley. I no longer feel like the bike is trying to throw me into the ditch going round corners or over bumps (as muchsmiley) .

I have found the sitting position a bit harsher on the lower back, but the wind pressure is much less on the arms, shoulders and neck wich was one of the aims.

The difference in confidence in the handling is amazing and unexpected. I no longer have to look like Rossi hanging of the side to get it to turn and the 'input' needed to steer is back in line with a regular motorcycle. A very great improvement on short runs, but i only had it back a couple days and i don't know what it'll be like over a run more than an hour yet.

    Hey Frank,

What length extension did you need on your lines and cables?
I've got a set of 12" apes with 1" risers I want to put on my rocker.
I checked on with harley and the only setup they can do me is made for 4" risers.
I'm thinking I might only need 2" over stock?
