    hello there

i purchased a dna springer front end awhile back and am now finally putting the bike together but the top tree does not seem to tighten or clamp to the stauchens which would hopefully remove the last bit of movement i have , it seems that there is very little movement in the tree when tightening the Allen key screws-has this happened to anyone else and is there any advice out there

There is a Grub screw on the Bottom of the Stem, You need to loosen that, Then you tighten down the Top Dome Nut, it will slip in to the Top Clamp,

DONT NOT HAVE ANY LOAD ON THE FRONT END AS YOU DO THIS.

Then you Tighten the Top Clamp Screws and finish off with the Bottom Stem Grub Screw

thanks walka for the info- tried what you said and was slightly better but still have play between stauchens and top clamp. Even with the front end off the top clamp just slides up and down easily when allen key screws are tight as i can get them
