Just a few weeks away from putting my order in for the Forty-Eight - It's taken me over 12 months to decide which bike I'd like to move up to (taking into account everything that appeals to me in a mbike) - When I saw the HD48 I just knew this was it! Has a test ride on a 1200 custom to get a feel and I absolutely loved it! Taken all the pros and cons on board, made a decision and just can't wait to ride it. Have a few custom changes to make but that's going to be half the fun. Looking forward to meeting other HD Ladies on a few runs in WA so just a quick post to say Hi " src="http://www.hdforums.com.au/DesktopModules/NTForums/themes/_default/emoticons/smile.gif" align="absMiddle" border="0" />
Hi.... you'll find a few of the ladies lurking around somewhere
G'day Liz and welcome to the forum....interesting choice of bike.
Never seen one before but jumped on google for a look. Beast of a front wheel...let me know how it handles when you climb aboard.
Welcome Liz hope you enjoy the forums.

Welcome Liz.
G'day Liz
welcome to the forum
Hi Liz and welcome to the forum, enjoy.
G'day Liz & welcome ... ...
Welcome to the Asylum Liz, I've had my order in for the 48 for a while now. Hope you don't plan on riding it accross the nulla. They look the goods as an around town/short haul ride though.
Regards Lofty
Thank you for your friendly welcomes and words of advice - it is much appreciated from all of you.
I look forward to continuing discussions on the forty-eight and do enjoy reading the informative posts on all things bikes (including your own).
Don't think I'll be doing the Nullabor thing as find it a bit boring myself but would love to ride parts of Oz at sometime (in my dreams).
I'm out embracing International Women's Day (WA) on Sunday so will be on my present ride (Bonneville).
Don't suppose I'll see too many of you blokes out there (ha ha) but may see you out on the road some other time.
Ladies - Hope to meet some of you on Sunday
Hi Liz have you had a look at whats out there second hand Liz, there are some good buys out there at the moment.

Hi Chris,
Always look over the paper, web and in the Harley shop to see whats around as not shy of a used bike but have to admit not all the styles of HD bikes take my fancy. The forty-eight really does as it's a bit retro like the bonnie and I do like the old cafe racers (esp Norton) and it's a good intro to a HD so happy with my decision.
What bike are you on?
