Fact or Fiction:-  can I put my Rush Slip-on mufflers (1.75" baffles) on the bike with no changes to the ECM or tuning?  Or will this make an already lean situation even worse?

The bike is a 2010 model softail and is otherwise totally stock  --- I have an air cleaner and tuner on the way --- but just wanted to start with the mufflers...

Thanks for any advice from those in the know.

Yeah is ok to do, I've put Squealing Chook slip-on's on without doing anything else, just get a bit of decel pop, nothing harmful.

As mentioned will need to do the tuner when upgrading air cleaners

Thanks for the replies guys, I just hate the bike sounding like a bloooody sewing machine, can't hear what revs the engine is doing....

UPDATE:- I just finished puting them on...... they sound bloody great, sounds like a Harley now and not a Janome.

Rush slipons quality seems excellent and from what I've seen and heard so far I would recommend them.
