Gday guys,

Just trying to install a neutral light on my shovel for the bloody rwc.

Not working out too well, I bought a new neutral switch and it doesnt appear to work.

Can anyone tell me if I'm right in believing that when in neutral a circuit should be made between the casing and the top pin on the switch. Effectively earthing the light when its in neutral. When I push the lever in nothing seems to happen.

Just wanna be sure before I buy another one.

Nah mate, installing the whole thing. Apparently I need it for a roadworthy.

New bulb and wiring, but so far only checked the switch with a multimeter, will try again tomorrow with power goin through it as it seems there is no circuit either with the plaunger in or out.
