Hi Guys, has anyone fitted sadllebags to their Fatboy twincam. I have an 05 and I have been looking at the HD Fatboy (they have the fatboy emblem on them) from PS. Has anyone fitted them? Or is there a better option. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

G'day mate. I have the ghost brackets from Kazz Mazz. I had them on my 06 Night Train with the extre length bolts so I could also fit the quick release rear back rest and rack. They are the best as you can have them on when you want them and take them off straight away and you wouldn't know any different. I now have them all set up for my 2010 Fatboy Lo. They fit all bikes.  Beats having them on all the time.....

Google Kazz Mazz and give Steve a call. He sells the brackets and the saddle bags from all sizes to bolt onto the ghost brackets.

The only problem is that you may have to purchase a relocating kit for the rear indicators.  But they are easily bought from the Harley shops....

    Cheers, good luck....

Gday Rollin, I also have an o5 fattie. As long as ya get the supports that go on ya struts there are many types of bags that will fit. I put a set on mine, then gave em away cos it wrecked the whole look of me bike. But eh thats me lol.

Unless gonna use em all the time I wouldnt even worry, ya can stack heaps on ya bars and back seat if need be and also save thousands.. But yeh the ones your talking about with the logos are genuine heritage ones.

Thanks for the input guys, i appreciate it.

I just need some space to cater for the o'nighter/weekender. Day to day riding i don't need them , so the detachable bags sound ideal, thanks again for your input.

    Hi Tassie Dave,

They are the ones I am looking at.. Did you fir them yourself or get the dealer to do it? How do you find them, can you store enough for a reasonable trip 2-3 days?

I think they aren't easy to remove, are yours fixed ?

Thanks for the info, I might consider a rack instead, I have an expandable bag, might be the go.
