Greetings all! Thought I'd be polite and introduce myself, a new member to the forum from the Gold Coast area. Got my first Harley, a Nightster (Vivid Black) in February and absolutely love her. The retro styling made me a convert and after seeing them on a website last year I quickly offloaded a Ducati Monster and out an order in.
Must admit, I am pretty impressed with the handling, a really easy and fun bike to ride (apart from the restrictive peg clearance - perhaps a set of forward controls may help?)
Have gone a bit against the bare-bone bobber look (which I love by the way) and am going towards a chromed up, retro chopper look. I like how its going so far but a bit of work left to go (next step is stretching the front end just a bit to lengthen the look and sit the tank up a bit). Hope it is not going too far from the intended styling, but hey, variety is the spice of life.

Took a bit of research but after following up your hint to check out the SE Qld ride thread I managed to put 2 and 2 together. I've subscribed to the tread so will keep my eye on it and hope to join a ride sometime.

Not as yet, I am a member and I've subscribed to the email newsletter and am keen to go on a ride. Have had things on the weekends that the rides were on so haven't been able to make it. Hope to join a ride in the next few weeks. Have registered for the safety day. Looking forward to it.
