CB Radio on Ultra

    Can anyone advise on which antenna on the Ultra is the CB RAdio and what frequency it transmits on? Is it UHF or 27mhz?

    My dealer doesn't know the answer and CB isn't working :-(

     It is the one with the spring on the end just before it enters the top box.  Unfortunately the HD CB is pretty well useless, it is the old am variety so only used if you are travelling with a bunch of EGlides or the American built Goldwings.  I've used mine about 3 times in 5 years.

    But there is an option!!!. Dale McLean at www.dmme.com.au has a solution. I have fitted a 5w UHF system. It is mated to the HD system and works through the rider to pillion intercom.  So you have the best of both worlds - the original HD CB and a very good UHF system.

     Thanks Sturgis, I had a feeling it wouldn't be UHF. 

    I will look into DMME as that may be the answer so I can do bike to bike with non HD integrated CB's. Thanks for the tip.
