Hey guys, opinions on the Mobil 5w-50 please. Is the polymere content so much of a concern as to make using this a no no? I change oil every 2000 K's and I understand its the polymeres that breakdown quite quickly. Would the frequency of oil changes and the coming colder weather in Sydney make this useable or forget it and stick with the V Twin stuff.

I have used it, but blended it with V Twin 20 W 50, so I guess it ended up being 15W 50. It is full synthetic, so why are you changing it every 2000? Leave it in for 8000, she'll be fine.

It works just fine for me - I don't know what the fuss is with oils.
