The question maybe have asked before but here it is again.
I was thinking of buying some Kevlar Jeans.
Are they worth the extra money ?
where is the best value for money deal ?
Are the cheaper ones that are online only as godd as Dragin ect ?
I would appreciate any feedback..Cheers
I have a pair of draggin's, bought them at the Harley stealer in dandenong I think I paid well over $200, should have shopped around & bought them online from draggin where I think they may be about $140, and if they are Oz made then they are the ones to buy. Yeah a bit hot in the summer but if they do what they are supposed to do then not as hot as sliding on tarmac. It would be hard to walk with no arse muscles left. Mine fit me good, I wore them all 8,000 kms to Perth & back & they were comfortable all the way. My sister used to work in the rag trade recond the fit & quality was real good.
I got those prices wrong, here is draggin jeans http://dragginjeans.net/index
Get the only 100% Aussie made Dragin Jeans mate. Julie had them on when she went for her 80kmph slide down the road, and she has no gravel rash at all. Wore the outside off, but the Kevlar stayed intact. We now have two pair each.
Bought some from AMX Motorcycle Gear.....cost me $99
Are they any good? No idea and hope I never have to find out
Draggin also sell for about $75 soft knee guards that you wear under your draggin jeans.
I have a pair of black Starider jeans, $119 www.starider.com.au they fit very well. Also have a pair of Shift, they are very hard, not comforable at all.

I've tested Draggin's a few too many times.
They don't stop your bones braking, but they do help prevent gravel rash, which can actually be worse than broken bones.
I got a pair from http://www.finnmoto.com.au/ about a year ago. Looks like the price has gone up a little bit since I got mine but they're great quality and good cut. As someone else said, they're a bit warm in summer but I wear them in winter for a bit of protection and a bit of warmth.
Bought a pair of Draggin's off the new earlier in the year for $180. Comfortable and they look like normal jeans
I watched M13's review on these http://www.rhok.com.au/jeans.htm worth a look i think.
Tough 14 ounce Denim Indigo Blue in colour (also available in black)
Triple Stitching throughout
Large One piece Kevlar protection ( not the small patchwork quilt type made from off cuts )
We use270gsm knitted DuPont kevlar. Compare this to our competitors and you will be surprised.
YKK Zippers
High Strength Rivets and Button
Removable CE approved hard shell knee and hip armor. The knee armor is removable from outside the jeans ( there is no need to drop your pants to remove the knee armor anymore) using hidden armor pockets and zips –
$165 no bad.

Hi,
Did you buy them direct from the Kryanno main site or an ebay vendor?
They look pretty good and I think having the armour is exceptional. At the moment I always ride in full leathers as once on the freeways/hwys you have plenty of air around you its not hot in them.
But would like some jeans for when going up to the shops etc.
Thanks

I have had a pair of Draggin Jeans for years now and they have worn exceptionally well. I also have a pair of cheaper Bikers Gear Kevlar jeans and whilst they've worn fairly well they aren't going to outlast the Draggins; the Draggins have a bit more Kevlar in them too but then the Draggins cost me twice what the Bikers Gear ones did so they should last longer. Are the Draggins better? I think so. Are they worth twice as much? I doubt it.
