Did the rake of a softail frame change in 2000???

Just curious, my mate just bought a 2004 Softail nightrain.  When i sit on it it feels and looks like the front end is raked but he assures me it isn't.  When I sit on my 95 Fatboy the rake is nowhere near as obvious.  Now dont get me wrong i know they are a different front end (fatboy and nightrain) but when i look at the headstem nut it seems to be on more of an angle.  I thought the softail frame was the same whether it be a fatboy, heritage or custom etc.  Is this right??  Or when the frame changed on the twin cam models did they rake the neck slightly too?

Thanks fellas for clearing this up. It must just be deceiving. When the two bikes are side by side it loks like the nightrain has a long rake to the forks but its obviously just the longer stretch in the softail forks compared to the FL front end.
