HEY,I'm trying to rebuild my 1974 XL1000 sportster back to period original,the guy i had brought it from had done a few mods and part swaps here and there and I'm trying to find out what the original colours were used for that particular year.Does anybody know how to tell from the chassis,engine numbers or where i can get the info from ?????????
