Changing bars need advice

    Hi Guys,

    a mate has a sporty and wants to swap out the bars (current are drag bars) to mini apes (from a 2008 Heritage bars)

    Anyone know the length of the cables he will need (he will have to change all of them out, including wiring)

    Just put a set of Mini apes on my wifes nightster Apes r 12" was able to use all existing gear except brake line went with a hd Diamond back Braided Just a bit of re routeing with throttle N idle ,Clucth had enough length Hope this helps.i tried to get the length of hd or some of the other shops around They all just said what ever the HD book says to use.Depending on Bar height i think +6 or +8 would do the job!
