hi everyone...im thinking of purchasing a 1990 electroglide classic....had mate ride bike as it is 7hrs south of me...he said it went well...tight engine,no smoke...but  it shaked(vibrated) only when he backed off throttle...or idled down hill...it seemed to stop when he pulled in clutch...any advice would be great...ps the engine mounts seem ok....at a loss ...cheers.

hi mate....i havent personally ridden bike....had a mate do it...he just said it went fine whilest on the power...but soon as he backed off it vibrated...like it was from the whole bike....he said if u coasted down hill it did it too so he pulled the clutch lever and it stopped vibrating...sorry i cant tell u more .... i know the the info i have isnt very helpful , but its all i have...just after some probbable causes.....cheers.

neil. ive just done a service on a dyna and it did the same thing. I also did a road test on an 08 superglide after i installed a fuelhot unit and it also was the same. must be a rubberglide thing.

hi mate....no it doesnt underbraking....i know there could many reasons but this forum could help in maybe narrowing it down ...cheers....thanks for everyones input so far.
