Yep but there is no need to put pistons out of a leyland bus in them

Lower the deck height , fill up the whole ,fly cut the top of the piston ---------- Flat tops vrooom

They would know what their doing , and I do understand that the relief pockets have to be deep enough to accommodate the fitment of higher lift cams but there straight away is a compromise a " universal out of the box kit and this isnt 100% right if you are serious about chasing horsepower .
It's back to my statment earlyier ' Cubic Dollars '
I mean no offence to any body I'm only having a bit of fun
    The kit looks good

AJ matey better do a little bit more research mate on your combustion design principles.

it makes a lot of sense to incorporate a heron head combustion chamber design into the sporty when using the standard 883 heads.

    Hi mate,

Can you be a little more specific with the price break down.

1250 kit landed from the USA with all shipping and import duties paid?

Labour cost for fitting 1250 kit to bike?

Additional items required for conversion like gaskets, oils, etc?

Did you use the higher tension 1200 clutch clip? What did this aspect cost?

What did you pay for the ECU tune and upgrade to match?

I doubt that was $1500AUS all up, right?

Kit came with head & base gaskets, landed here cost me $890ish landed. - Import dutes? - Pff. What are they? - I brought when the dollar was way up

fitting was $500.... A mate did this for me. (17 years as a harley mech / engine builder) - This included a fitting the higher tension clutch spring, and for the record I didn't use a 1200 one. - I actually used the screamin' eagle spring, which was very cheap. - This, along with top end gaskets was less than $100 including filter which he supplied - This also included machining the lower fins of the barrels, which did not fit. - They fouled on the push rod blocks.

I had a TON of Amsoil 20w-50 here, So thats what it got.

I did the base tune myself using SEPST, building off sreamin eagle's base 1200 stage 1 tune. - I've done 650od kms on it so far & in just keeps getting better as it loosen's up. - I started gently leaning on the tune once it clocked over 500kms using smart tune.
