It seems my starter motor doesn't want to play any mrore, its sucking the life out of the battery.
Up for a new starter & battery

The bike would sometimes start no worries, then other times just the starter would click. I charged the battery once on a good quality trickle charger and it was OK for a short time, then fucked again.
The solenoid on the starter is playing up and was just kicking the battery in the guts every time and it just gave up the ghost. Had it charged to 14.3 and when trying to start dropped down to 4.
Ended up getting a good quality 1.4kw Canadian made starter for $360. For the exact same one at Rollies was $797!!!!! Got it through Parts Pro (who advertise on this site) and they were great to deal with.
Battery with 12mth warranty $110
Pick it up tomorrow morning.

Well looks like i'm out as well, have been lying around all day with a head cold, weather does'nt look good for tomorrow, last thing i want is to feel worse than i do now. I know i may be weak, but fuck, i want to be over this shitty feeling ASAP

What a fantastic day, Great company, great weather, food, scenery, etc. Highlight of the day... Getting a big cuddle from you Jilly. . I think she wants me Ubes... Can't wait to see some pics from the paparazzi. Lets see if we can do the Gold Coast hinterland next ride after Labour day. Thanks again to everyone for making my first group ride an enjoyable experience.
What can i say, woke up this morning feeling better than Saturday night, checked the forum to see how many where going got myself dressed, hopped on the bike and off to meet the crew, glad i did, what a great day, weather ,perfect, company, great, food, excellant, DRUGS, FUCKEN TOPS kept my head clear all day, good to meet you Aunty aka Chis, glad you had a good time, i think you met the cream of SEQ today when you meet the others you will understand

I have to add that the Obi Obi road up to Mapleton was AWESOME!! We definately have to do that again (that was my first time up there).
Had another FANTASTIC day and OH yeh Chris, only the special SEQ crew get the big Jilli hug, lol!! Shhhhh!!
