New Rear Facing Speed Cameras for WA

     G'day,

    Why do ya think the filth and the even filthier (pollies) keep pushing all these extra speed cameras, booze buses, double demerit fines and fines etc on to the motoring public, it's because THERE IS NO MONEY TO BE MADE IN SOLVING MURDER, RAPE, GRANNY BASHING AND ALL THE OTHER CRIMES AGAINST THE PUBLIC.

     The motorist is an easy target to help source the funds need to run all these speed cameras, booze buses, top heavy management and the pollies living away from home allowance. And of course Mr Matt Brown's survey would say what it said because the participants would have been all paid up RAC VOLVO driving members and they, RAC, would be the first to put their hand out for funding to conduct driver training courses. People should be made to ride a scooter or small motorcycle for 12 months before they can get their car driving licence, that would teach them to be more aware of their surroundings whilst operating a motor vehicle.

    Sorry about my rant and I shall get off me soap box now before I get on to the other do-gooder issues that fucking shit me before I get into trouble.

    I think that any measure taken to reduce the road toll is great news. It is not rocket science, if you speed you are at fault, not the camera. I like to ride my bike knowing that at least some enforcement is out there on the roads.

    on the one hand i hate speed cameras , but on the other hand ( in retrospect ) i was glad i got caught last December ....... i was always riding like i stole it and it was only a matter of time before i came off in a big way. its slowed me down a bit and im sorta thankful for that .

    +1 stinga the other post can stick with the hog riders ,aggresive ridin keeps you alive if ya aint in their face theyll ignore ya .its the same with prescript drugs,ciggys,alchol its revenue before policy 135,000. aussies die evrey year 1,600 on the road take away roos,drugs,piss out of the total it aint worth worryin about

    I just thought of something. Why the f**k would you spend a shitload of taxpayers' money buying TWO connecting cameras at a time. If they photograph a vehicle or bike from the rear then why do they need a camera to photograph it from the front as well???????

                                    UNLESS

    Maybe the bastards are going to aim the OTHER camera at the rear ends of the OPPOSITE travelling traffic!!!! This way they can cop double the number of passing vehicles and  DOUBLE THE INCOME!!!!! Maybe our tax rates will be reduced!!! Maybe not too............  :(
