How many of those kms were with high lift cams and heads with heavier springs on?

I am wondering if the wear is a result of the increased loading from one cam to the other due to these factors?

Mine were as new at 8,000km.

One cam drives the other via the chain. If there is increased ramp and lift from the big cam and increased load on the ramp because of the springs I would think the driven cam would load the chain up...just a guess.
