As most off you know i work in a hospital, Yesterday i did a double shift and around 9pm a fellow rider had came in by ambulance. Ambo had told me that the rider had split the lane at a set of traffic lights (cars were stationary) The driver was trying to keep up with him, Caught up to him and the passenger opened the rear door on him. The rider lost controll and hit a stationary car.  When the rider was out of his Kneck brase and back from xrays i went and seen if he was ok. He told me that a car was sitting to close to him, Listening to the roar of the pipesbut cos they got to close he let them pass. Got to a set of lights and went throught the middle and took off (03 ultra glide) as it was wet and slippery he took it easy, next thing you know felt a thug in the rear lost control and could'nt pull it up. He said he didnt know what happened but witnesses told police and the ambos they seen the rear passenger of the car open his door and close it as the rider went down.Police got a rego # but told him it was stolen and was used in a drive off at a servo . This bloke was lucky i got one of the staff to xray his helmet, a bit bigger than a hair line crack so there must of been some impact. I know most of us dont like this part but his Leathers were cut off and it was a pitty cos they were ok.

I know we all do it But  BE CAREFUL out there

Stories like these are sad but good, they are only good in the sense that they refresh our minds to be careful .... thankfully the rider is fine

pricks like that in the car need to be hung up and left to rot ..bet you they were laughing and still are laughing at "how funny" that was .... reckon they will do it again for kicks since they got away with it

if you caught them and beat the shit out of them for what they did, reckon the gutless cowards would go crying to the cops about what was done to them

    KARMA will get them eventually

and I think the rider should be grateful to have a fellow bike rider like yourself doing those small things (xray helmet) ... we need more like you finny

These are good examples of the only types of things that have ever worried me about riding a bike. There are always going to be F#$kwits on the road that couldn't care less whether you end up in hospital or not . It's the moron in the car that for whatever reason just doesn't like you riding past him or her in a traffic jam and wants to teach you a lesson. Anyone with half a brain would think to themselves good luck to him I wish I was on a bike today, but not the F#$kwit,he or she just thinks I will teach this prick a lesson. How do you defend against someone that will read this and then sit there and think to themselves ''OH GOOD'' these bikers are scared of me????  And yet when you can catch and front these F#$kwits as I did to a guy in Brisbane that tried to run my wife and I off the road after we rode to the front of the que,you find out they quiver like little children with fright. How any person could deliberately aim there vehicle at someone on a motorcycle for lane splitting (which is what happened to us) is behond my comprehension, but I can only imagine that they have had a very sad life and have become very pathetic human beings.

He was inside the car and we were in heavy traffic so I took my anger out on his car and he just sat there. Luckily for us I mannaged to get the Bonnie out of his way, unlike the poor bugger that Finny is taking care of in hospital.

No,I had a 1977 bonneville, that and a Suzuki Katana I rebuilt are probably the only two bikes i have really missed owning.Took my Katana everywhere,Great ocean road,Snowy mountains, and everwhere in between thats why I put a thread on here talking about going to Sturgis. Cant wait to start travelling again on a bike, its been a few years now.Anyway I am getting off the original subject now.

This is the reason we should have guns...some people are only alive because it is illegal to kill them.
