    Hi All,

my bulb in one of my aux lights has gone and the only bulbs I have are H3 100w, the orginal was H3 55w, can I still install the new bulbes or should I wait till I get the 55w

Will the H-D wiring handle the increase in watts?

    Cheers

    Thanks guys,

It had 55watt in them so I'll pick up some 55's again and just leave to 100's in the shed

    Cheers

I put a 100W hella sealed beam in one of my '98 Heritage's passing lamps and it's not a happy thing to have all your lights go out while zipping along a dark road at night.....

One more consideration, as some have mentioned the higher wattage means more heat. So even if you do in stall heavier wiring the reflector has to be able to take the heat as well. Some of them are chromed plastic!
