Has anyone used a WindVest windscreen? I am getting a bit of buffeting and found that if I crouch down a bit it gets better. The only problem is that if I get the next size up standard windscreen it will probably come just across my eye level. I thought getting a WindVest the same height as my current one may help.
Any thoughts?
Yep get your self a bigger windscreen mate . I run a 2009 FLHTCU I had the std 10 inch, get over 90 ks and its like the guy on the fastest indian. It shakes your bloody head until your teeth ware away, the steelers dont tell you this. I replaced it with a 15 inch no probs with the wind . Could have got away with the 12 inch but the steelers only had 1 in stock .Couldnt wait for them to get a 12 inch in to WA (stands for wait a while). I suppose it depends on how tall you are. The 15 inch looks ok but when you get behind it feels huge till you get used to it. good luck with it. Twotone
a couple of years ago I purchased a screen for a japper I had from Peter Edwards of Screens for Bikes in Resevoir Vic,
Peter works from home & can make up a screen to suit your requirements from your plans if he does'nt have it in stock..
He does have Harley screens...give him a ring & see what he can do for you...

I didnt have a prob with it at all. good luck and all the best. this is the 15 inch _____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ FLHTCU 2009 Candy apple root beer.
if you get the next size up it is fairle easy to cut it down a few inches
Hi there, been re-visiting the screens and am just wondering what you think of the X-Stream now? What size is it? I'm finding on my ultra at anything over about 90kph I'm getting buffeting that makes it hard to focus on the scenery.
