Help, help help. Got booked for the second time today for being too loud. Last time did the old switch-a-roo with borrowed standard pipes, but am giving up my life of noise for the "fine free" quiet life if I can get hold of some standard mufflers for my 04 1200 Sporty. Anyone out there (in Melb) that has some gathering dust in their garage they want to part with?  How much?

Don't the police have some proper criminals to catch?

Was in Nicholson St Carlton, just near the cemetary. Got breathalised, then asked to pull over and they went right over my bike. Noise was the only thing they could get me on. Was very cross!! grrr. Have been given a set of standard mufflers, so I am checking out if they will fit. Keep my fingers crossed. I don't really want a bike that sounds like a sewing machine, but hey, can't keep paying out $$$ for this crap.

The coppers say they wonder why bike riders hate them so much and this just proves a point around the area I live you got these four cylinder tin top fart boxs driving around flat stack with there oversized mufflers hanging out the arse end of the car and the music so loud that all you can here from miles away is Boom, Boom, Boom, but ride down the road on your Harley and the coppers are over you like a bad rash so do I have any respect for the blue gang, not a chance in hell.

wow, I had no idea you could get picked up with a red light camera (with mic). What next? By satelite? I usually head for the Yarra Valley, but being Good Friday, thought I'd give the country run a miss and went into Fitzroy....that was my mistake!
