I run Blue Ant bluetooth. Also great when riding apart, that is up to around 500ft. Use it when riding with my daughter all the time (  that is when she is over from Adelaide). If you are interested I can post some details.

I use the pull over piss and smoke system.  Works well every 200km.

Understand.... if your running two up then battery life would not last. I primarily purchased to use with phone for work, but as I ride with my daughter from time to time is great to be able to talk with her.... we have a great relationship so do not mind having someone to talk to when riding :D

Claiming as tax deduction for work as I get calls at all hours....

We have thought about the Blue Ant system, but the way I look at it it,s bad enough getting a tap on the shoulder when the speeds getting up without getting told about it to.

Don't have a solo seat for nothing!!!!  I selected the Blue Ant primarily for the ability to connect to my phone, but as a secondary to talk with another rider, namely my daughter....

There are also a number of PerthStreetBikes riders who have them. I meet with these guys for Yum Cha, Pizza and other type rides and find it convenient to be able to converse with a couple of the guys. The limit is that you can only pair with one other device, but have learnt to live with that. The unit is on my full face helmet... must try the open face sometime.
