    Hi

Can someone please point Me in the right direction for lowering the arse end of My 1994 FXD superglide apparently you can get lowering blocks to do this is this correct?

I want to lower it so I can touch the ground flat footed  which I cant do presently(courtesy of having short fuckin legs)  so I recon 1 inch should do it.

Apparently the first owner of the bike was a big boy & put heavy duty springs on the rear to prevent it bottoming out.

Post some pictures if you have done this please or an idea of part names.

    Cheers

    Rick

    OK then

Ive got the old shockies they came in a box of stuff with the Bike but they are knackered & they measure the same length as the ones on the bike.

So whats a good brand of shocks I should be looking at? they need to be 1 inch shorter than standard shocks.

    OK thanks for the info

I had a good troll around the net last night & I like the look of the IKON units for a FXDL/I 1340 & 1450 Dyna 93-00 7610-1535SP8 lowers bikes approx. 25mm which should do nicely.

Ill have a good look & measure it all up when Im finished these Fuckin nightshifts.

    Cheers

I have changed my bike to Ikon's last week.

    Great shocks.

    winge on

but I have had it happen to me twice in the last 6 months when I ordered I asked for them not to be sent Australia post, so I would get faster delivery, or so they said

and both times they said they would send them TNT freight and yet send them Australia post after saying something else.

    once possibly a miscommunication, twice?

problem was I sat home for two days waiting for the delivery, what a piss off

    winge off
