Just a thought, do you ride much ?

Slammed that low would have to make it pretty nasty on rough roads ?

If it's just a city cruiser, should be fine. You can allways go back if you keep all the parts.

Personal choice, but what you have looks better to me.

Hey Spanna, they're both nice looking machines,,, they're Harleys.

I can see what you mean about the mods, they have a certain appeal, and if they appeal to you, then go for it.

I don't think there's any issue there with devaluation.

Individuality can make all the difference, you're an individual, so it's really your choice, build an individual machine and enjoy it.

Don't worry too much about what anyone else thinks, living up to several others expectations will only hinder and confuse you.

Go for it man, express your individuality.

    Wicked....

I love it......that cut down bob gaurd is cool

Spanna my advice would be do what I did when I converted mine, go on ebay a pick up another tank and gaurd, I have my stock set put away for safe keeping

You can then customise the other set.

I say go for it. I think what is more true is that you probably won't get back much if any of your the $$$ you put into it. Save all your take-off parts and if you decide to sell your ride put them back on and sell the custom parts  seperatly.

stand back and look at your bike and change what you dont like, keep what you do like, after all is your bike

have you thought of a bare bones or silhouette solo seat

P.S never seen a bad harley just some not as good as others

I've always hated the look of the bobtail guard..... but that one I can live with !

What do you do with taillight / number plate. Sidemount ?
