what year bike and what brand barrels did you buy ??

I didn't need to replace anything other than what came with the kit when I did mine, but the kit I bought was for 2004+ sportsters.  Are you sure the kit you have is for 1993 to 2003 models?

hi mongrel, how did you compare the barrel heights? you bought them new but dont no what brand ??do the new pistons have a name on them? your origional barrels probably have the base gasket still attached..when assembling you still need to check deck height and you may need to change base and/or head gasket thickness..

enforcer-parts fitting and labour start @ ABOUT $2000-00 FOR A BASIC CONVERSION..up to about $4000-00 for a full conversion-heads / ecu etc...and $4k upwards for a hottie.........

Pro street did my mates last year for $1500. I believe this was a price match from K&M
